Welcome to Leach Family Farms!

Although we have a presence on Facebook  and a Website that we keep updated frequently, we will be using this Blog for longer posts and to address questions and concerns that YOU our extended "family" have.

We began becoming more attentive to the foods that we were purchasing and eating when we began having children. Under the misunderstanding that if the grocery store was selling it, it must be healthy and nutritious right? Boy were we wrong. The more we read, watched and researched, the more confused and frustrated we became. We wanted to buy and eat the best food but what was the best? How could we tell? Fresh, Organic, Non-GMO, Cage Free, Pastured, Local, Humane, Animal Welfare rating, what did all these terms really mean? Which ones were important and which ones could be ignored?

If you are like us and wish to purchase the best food for you and your family, or simply wish to better understand the confusing terms and labels that are in the marketplace today, this is the blog for you! We will present information in an unbiased format to help  you decide for yourself which products to purchase and enjoy.

We will attempt to answer these questions and more. If you have a specific question that we have not yet addressed, please feel free to email us at [email protected]. We will do our best to answer your questions in a timely manner.
